Germany WILLE This fully automatic consolidation test system is designed to apply the axial stress by hydraulic loading unit which gives accurate control of applied loads in a wide range of pressures and give the possibility to test the large samples as well without needs of load frame. The consolidation system is used because of main advantages of it which mainly are the capability of performing tests on large samples, possibility of easy relocating of system and also the ability of the controlling the drainage in this type of one directional consolidation cell. In addition, an accurate permeability test with this set up is possible as well. The complete system includes of a Rowe Barden cell, displacement transducer to measure Vertical settlement at the centre of the sample, two pressure controllers to generate axial hydraulic loading and back pressure, Pore water pressure transducer and software which runs automatically all types of required tests which are pre-programmed in it.

Different modes of pressure control e.g. constant pressure, pressure ramps, constant volume flow is available with using of this pump.
The Rowe Barden cell comes with different sample sizes from 50mm up to 150mm in diameter and larger on request (250mm or 300mm with sample height of 250mm) and when connects with our advanced pressure volume controller gives the possibility to run conventional oedometer tests and also other tests which are listed in below. The device is equipped with advanced GEOsys software which gives the possibility to users to run all the test stages completely automatic and there is no need of presence of operator during the test.
Rowe Barden Cell
In all oedometer cells, the undisturbed soil specimen is cylindrical type which is placed in a confining ring which is made of stainless steel to prevent any lateral strain and provide a real one-dimensional test condition (the sample is allowed just to have vertical compress and swelling).
Applied hydraulic force by Pressure Volume controller is distributing over the entire of the specimen by using a pressure cap contacted to upper porous disc which is placed on top of the specimen. Two stainless steel porous discs located at top and bottom of the specimen allow pore water to drain out of Specimen. The cell has 2 inlet and outlet connections with needle Valves at lower part and pressure and de-airing connection and needle valves at upperpart of cell.

Different modes of pressure control e.g. constant pressure, pressure ramps, constant volume flow is available with using of this pump. It has Compact and space saving design (for wall-mounting or table use) and has different modes of pressure control (e.g. constant pressure, pressure ramps, constant volume flow).
Two of these pumps generate axial hydraulic loading and back pressure and in combination with a Pore water pressure transducer and software are used to run automatically all types of required tests which are pre-programmed in software.

The operation of the device requires the direct input of numerical values besides the use of the function keys. The control element made by Siemens Company is an advanced control panel which allows the user to enter the numerical values and control the system by other function keys easily. You need just to enter the values and press the run Key to start the operation.
The operator panel gives the user access to all functions in the operation and service menu. This enables the user to start and run the pump as well as conduct calibration if needed. These controls are instinctive and simple to use. All functions, such as actual status, flow rate and information on the pressure pumping ramp can be seen on the LCD display on the front of the device.
